CUSTOMIZED MASSAGE: Custom massage sessions may incorporate a combination of modalities or techniques. For instance, Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, reflexology, stretching and range of motion with light, medium, firm, or deep pressure applied to reach the comfort level of each client.
SWEDISH MASSAGE: Swedish massage, is used on the overall body to get you fully relaxed. This is considered the most common massage, using long light to medium strokes to release tension in troubled areas of the body.
DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE: Deep tissue massage applies slow, firm pressure to release muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia. This technique is mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. Deep tissue massage includes applying continuous pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and tissues.
LYMPHATIC MESSAGE: Lymphatic drainage massage, is a gentle, soft form of massage used to relieve painful swelling and movement of fluids around the body. This type of massage aims to help the body maintain proper blood circulation, body fluid balance, and immune functions. However, you are still healing and will still be sore or ache. (SOME CLIENT MAY EXPERIENCE DISCOMFORT)
POST OP LYMPHATIC MASSAGE: A post-operative massage is a gentle form of massage that increases blood flow and promotes recovery by targeting the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system helps process waste and absorbs fluids. After surgery, these fluids can accumulate in the tissues, making them feel hard, which is often painful. Manual lymphatic drainage massage is frequently recommended by plastic surgeons during the recovery phase following cosmetic liposuction. This specialized form of massage is generally believed to decrease recovery time and improve results, by reducing post-surgical swelling and scar tissue. This technique should be painless, as constant soft pressure is applied and increased slowly. However, you are still healing and may still be sore or ache. (Some patients may experience discomfort)
